Fast Fashion Partners optimizes workflow
The move to brand new premises prompted Fast Fashion Partners to optimize its workflow as well. In collaboration with TCOG, the warehouse processes were streamlined, minimizing the margin of error for deliveries and orders.
Fast Fashion Partners is an ambitious and dynamic clothing company that has experienced strong annual growth since its inception in 2006. The company has thirty employees and is based in Belgium, close to the German and Dutch borders. Thanks to its own fully equipped production facilities in Ningbo, China, the company guarantees short lead times and high quality. Fast Fashion Partners works on behalf of private labels and also distributes two of its own brands: the women’s label Vila Joy and the children’s brand Someone.
Major step forward
Previously, Fast Fashion Partners worked with an outdated ERP system and the orders in the warehouse were collected in the traditional way using paper packing slips. A slow process in which the arrangement of the goods was memorized. “Since August 2016 we are in a new building in which everything is provided to work in height with goods on racks,” says Sven Geukens, IT employee at FFP. “This makes hand picking impossible, as you can never remember exactly where those thousands of goods are. We then switched to itSuitsFashion, TCOG’s fashion total solution. Through the large-scale implementation of a Warehouse Management System (WMS) solution, we made a big step forward in streamlining the warehouse processes.”
